This is such a psy-op.

Trades can lead to a great career, especially if you have some business acumen and discipline — HOWEVER:

1) Your body will be destroyed by 45. If you’re in a field like HVAC, there is also more cancer risk.

2) Trades are not immune to automation or replacement migration.

3) This could be a ploy to redirect young white men away from elite careers in finance, law, business, etc., thus disenfranchising the white man.

To be clear, trades can be fantastic. I know a man who left a promising law career to become a roofer; he owns his own business, and only works in the summer, clearing six figures easily.

Yet, nobody is telling young people the downsides.
