I am reading this great book The Purpose Pivot by Melissa Gonzales and came across this passage which totally resonated with me. As some who has been actively and intentionally rebuilding my community starting with joining a female founded co-working community The Hivery founded by Grace Kraaijvanger I have found we are all not just showing up for ourselves, but we are showing up for each other. Whether someone is hosting a member meet up or for a new friend who just published a book and hosting a book signing gathering at a local book store, we are supporting, collaborating, and becoming friends in the most beautiful way. AND!!! I am meeting the most incredible, diverse women who I would’ve otherwise never had the opportunity to connect with, which has been incredible. So grateful for my community.
