I’ve studied music my whole life, and completed my Master’s in psychoacoustics (perception of sound), so when it comes to storytelling, I strive for a high degree of immersion. Part of my personal qualm with just text is that it feels very linear compared to audio narrations and video.

While I’m not yet well versed in video, I lean heavily into engineering the audio experience behind my stories. When I narrate a piece, I use binaural soundscapes to position the listener in the centre of the experience, to give them the best immersion possible.

My goal is to do this more, and collaborate with musicians (like the one I did for my piece below) to weave the narrative together a bit more. Topic for another day. And of course, if just reading is your thing, I always publish the text along with it.👇🏻
