I don’t know… An American making tacos in London complaining about other Americans criticizing tacos made by other Americans in London seems a bit of a whitewashed preoccupation to me. Plus, Diana Kennedy was one of the few english speaking people who really knew was she was talking about when she wrote about Mexican food (this, said by a Mexican writer who actually specializes in researching and writing about Mexican food).
