It’s a digital image posted by the official White House X account that is actually a serious breach of trust with the American public. They decided that posting an undisclosed, casually undetectable edited image was acceptable, since it owned a political enemy. But what it actually communicates is that the viewer can’t trust the official channels of the US Government to be honest. If some intern made a mistake and grabbed it, they could have apologized. But that’s not what happened.
