🚨 DUMPED. MONITORED. DEAD.

A 31-year-old Haitian refugee, Daphy Michel, living and working in Pennsylvania, was last seen in ICE custody after a judge dismissed all criminal charges against her.

Three days later, she was found dead at a Pittsburgh bus stop — still wearing the ankle monitor.

Police say she had experienced a serious mental-health episode that initially led to her arrest. After the charges were dismissed, ICE transported her about an hour away to its Pittsburgh office, fitted her with an electronic ankle monitor, and released her — without notifying her family or bringing her home.

🤦‍♂️Her brother expected her back Thursday after the charges were dropped.

She never arrived.

On Monday, he received the call.

☠️ She was dead.

Officials say the cause may be cardiac arrest, though toxicology results could take weeks.

Her family still doesn’t know why she was left alone in a city far from home after ICE detained and transported her.

🔊 Advocates say the unanswered questions expose the human cost of aggressive immigration enforcement — and they are demanding accountability.

Her name was Daphy Michel.
