ICE TRIED TO TAKE A DAYCARE WORKER WHO HAD HER PAPERS

ICE agents entered the Suzuki School in Buckhead and attempted to arrest a daycare worker.

A school employee said the worker had her immigration paperwork with her. ICE still moved to take her.

The arrest did not happen—but the threat did. A workplace serving children became another site where ICE tried to remove someone who was prepared to prove her status.

Having papers did not stop ICE from treating her like a target.
