Christians are imperfect, flawed, people just like anyone else. We make mistakes, believe lies, and sometimes even assert what we believed to be true, when it's not. But though this is true, we are called to a higher standard, so when we recognize something is a lie that we have asserted, we have a greater responsibility to correct it. I have found on many issues recently many Christians struggle to do this.
We need to aim up. Jesus said the truth will set us free. How many lies that Christians believe are contributing to our shrinking freedom?
