Before there was a building, thousands of artists and exhibitions, and a radio show amplifying voices once unheard, there was a simple but urgent realization that not everyone is given the chance to live a full life. In 1982, one young music therapist saw what was missing and set out to create something radically different. What began with three individuals, a music therapist, and a guitar has grown into Able ARTS Work, a place where creativity becomes voice, and voice becomes belonging.
