Instead of filling out profile forms, users have a natural voice conversation with an AI that acts like a dating coach. It asks questions, follows up on their answers, and extracts nuanced insights about what they're actually looking for.

The results are actually pretty remarkable:

  • Average time spent during the onboarding conversation: 26 minutes (some users chat for 90+ minutes)

  • 80% of introductions lead to in-person dates

  • Profiles are more authentic because conversational depth reveals what typing never could

As their lead investor put it: "In a conversation, you can get those nuances out, but in the past, the conversation required a $10,000 matchmaker."

And this principle could extend far beyond dating. The same approach could transform onboarding for other product verticals, including:
