The guide identifies 9 categories of Skills with examples on how Anthropic uses them internally.

2. Data Fetching & Analysis - Connects Claude to your data stack so it can query, compare, and surface insights without needing you to know which tables or dashboards to look at.

3. Business Process & Team Automation - Turns repetitive workflows like standups, ticket creation, and weekly recaps into a single command.

4. Code Scaffolding & Templates - Generates boilerplate for new features or services pre-wired with your team's auth, logging, and config conventions.
