Surface is the unloved child of Microsoft right now.

And Copilot is the star of the show.

But… a new report in the WSJ suggests that now that folks have had a few months to try Copilot, execs are wondering whether it’s actually worth $30 per employee.

“I wouldn’t say we’re ready to spend $30 per user for every user in the company,” said Sharon Mandell, the chief information officer at a networking hardware company.
