Massive congrats to everyone involved in the 2026 Spring Writers’ Studio for an incredible show in front of a sold-out house this Saturday at the OSO Theatre in Barnes, SW London!

The eight original short plays ranged from charming, to insightful, to witty, to moving, and they were all certainly entertaining.

It was a brilliant showcase with lots of variety, which is what events like this are all about.

The performances from all nine actors were sensational, especially considering they only had three weeks to rehearse.

Huge congrats to those talented performers for an amazing job.

And of course the team of producers and technicians behind the scenes did so well in pulling everything together in such a short space of time, and ensuring the audience of 120 had a great experience.

Everyone involved should be so proud of the achievement.

Credit is also due to the OSO Theatre for running such a unique, valuable programme several times per year, bringing more local artists and audiences into the theatre.

If you’re a writer or actor in London who’d like to learn more about this twice-annual programme, and potentially get involved with future Writers’ Studios, please feel free to leave a comment or drop me a message.

Looking forward to the next one already!
