What was the last thing you read that was outside your usual style or comfort zone?

I recently read, Stories for Mothers and Daughters, which is a great collection of short stories all by female authors.

I particularly enjoyed a story included called, Weekend, by Richmal Crompton.

As a male author with no children, I read this collection to help me find ways to better develop the mother-daughter relationships that are central to several of the stories I’m working on.

I’d highly recommend it!
