Great rant! In a modern economy such as Australia’s Marx’s view lost relevance eons ago. We have few factories with even fewer workers and those workers are normally very skilled. In Marxian terms these people are the labour aristocracy not the disposed proletarians. Factory slaves require factories in order to exist, no factories no proletarians as traditionally defined.
