Part of the joy of digging deep into Laura Nyro and her music (up to 4,900 words or so on my likely two-part essay) is to finally hear it at all - everything after 1978's ‘Nested’ was a long-standing blindspot. This recording from the Bottom Line in New York on Christmas Eve, 1993 is just wonderful, another live date where the love from the audience is so overpowering.
