Every time you use AI to research a story or assist you in any aspect of the writing process, you are helping to improve the models, affirm the demand, and applaud the very technologists whose products aim to replace you with AI-generated writing.

That is my stance. It may not be yours. All this is evolving so fast nobody know where it will be in an hour or two.

But I love brainstorming story ideas, researching, outlining and writing. I don’t want to give any that up, and I don’t want to see the need disappear.
