British PM Sunak opens as well as closes with a quote from Winston Churchill, about the importance, freedom, and strength of Europe.

He mentions the threat of Russia and of China, and wants to hold Russia accountable for the “horrendous war crimes that have been committed”. “The challenge to our values is growing, the time to push back is now.” Sunak says we must outcooperate and outcompete those who drive instability.

He then continues with we will stand by Ukraine for as long as it takes, etc. etc. (skipping through this since each leader says this)

Interesting that he then veered off to talk about illegal migration and cybercrime, with the amazing quote “stop the boats!”

PM of Poland says that “we are a community of values and it is our duty to defend them”. He says that these councils are held at crucial and historic moments, says that Putin’s plan includes the construction of a different order, based on values contrary to ours, where democracy becomes an empty notion, where all that matters is naked force. Also states the importance of a damage register, so that Russian crimes are accounted for, says it is a precondition for stability and peace in the future.
