I remembered that one of the goals for this Writer Cabin was to enable off-grid use. So: solar panel battery maintainer, AC inverter, and DC lighting. Heater is another problem for winter (not right now.) No A/C, but parking it under tree shade for afternoons.
Oddly, I bought a cheapo Chinese set up a couple of years ago. Some rousting-about recovered it today. Diagrams and cords and everything. I also got a handful of inverters at an auction about that same time. So this will probably be the next step.
I already have leftover DC lighting from the cottage, and can start with a budget car battery to start (the trailer has a vent and location for this.
An older Chromebook should do me fine for this setup - with an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
