In the climate engagement work that I do, I often feel like I’m expected to fulfil some kind of motivator or cheerleader role - demonstrating relentless positivity in the face of what can feel like an unsurmountable challenge.
Yet the truth is I don’t feel relentlessly positive about our chances of changing things for the better. But by being honest about that, and naming it, maybe together we’ll get closer to working out how to make things better than they are right know - by building relationships that are all about building trust and credibility.
