For the longest time I told myself I hadn’t started this Substack because I was too busy. Too many deadlines. Too many projects.
The truth? I was scared.
Human nature has a bias: we overestimate risk and underestimate opportunity. Our brains are wired to protect us, not grow us. So the “what ifs” arrive first. What if it fails? What if no one reads it? What if I look foolish?
But the bigger risk is doing nothing.
Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s moving anyway.
So I started.
