None of this is to say that everyone was in favor of how Paris radically flipped the script on cars. After decades of dominance and destruction, it’s funny to watch spurned car drivers play the victim as the city effectively looked them straight in the eyes and told them to go fuck themselves.

The difference between Paris with and without (or almost without) cars is just incredible. It’s difficult to illustrate, but I try on Sunday.

Later in the month, we get into the drivers play the victim part.

It’s sort of pathetic to watch.
