Thanks Wendy Russell! A one sentence story inspired by something that just happened:
The frantic mother scrambles after her 8-yr old who is running through the playground shouting, “the ice cream store is open and I have my mom’s credit card!!”
(The little girl actually ran up to me and said, “I just had ice cream, and I have a credit card with ten dollars on it!” Which is probably a good story as well - but it is hers to tell 😉)

The warning came early enough for me to leave, but you were already looking at me the way storms look at coastlines, and I have never been very good at running.
