For a while back in the 2000s I was a member of the peak oil crowd, but changed my mind with fracking. This has not stopped some true believers from still pushing their failed prophecies a decade and a half later. My comment on the attached video:

“Berman has been wrong for a decade and a half. I remember being at ASPO 2011 when an oil executive attempted to explain to the peak oil true believers that fracking would greatly delay any peak. And 15 years later, with the world happily dealing with sanctions on Russia and very low production from Venezuela, he is still pushing the same crap. The issue is climate change, ecological destruction etc., not peak oil. Trump will take all the environmental safeguards off US oil and gas and it will increase production again.”
