Where I find trading ideas:

Reddit: niche subs where some people share patterns, not the meme-filled ones.

YouTube videos: 90% noise, 10% sparks of insight (filters, exits, regime logic).

Podcasts: interviews often drop mental models or risk frameworks you can turn into tests.

Books: classic trading books are full of ideas most people never bother to test systematically.

Academic papers: my personal database of factor studies and anomalies… research worth adapting, not copying blindly.

The real skill isn’t finding them it’s filtering and testing until you uncover something robust.
