If he runs, he will lose. The reason Mitch McConnell and other R’s have turned against him is (1) his Jan. 6 troubles are growing, and the primary reason: (2) he’s a known loser. He lost in 2020. He lost the House in the 2018 midterms. He lost the Senate on Jan. 5. The govt. went blue on his watch, when every election is a referendum on the sitting President. R politicians are political hacks, they always know which way the winds are blowing.
