Today is Memorial Day in the U.S. — a day to remember those who paid the ultimate price serving and fighting for their country.

I never truly understood the full meaning of this day until now, as I witness thousands of Ukrainians laying down their lives for Freedom.

I salute the fallen American heroes. And I salute the fallen Ukrainian heroes.
