Why I allow russian trolls and bots to leave comments under my posts.

First, whether they realize it or not, russian trolls and bots actually help my posts reach a larger audience. Their obsessive engagement boosts visibility, helping my content go viral and reach millions of people around the world.

Second, I want people to see those comments. I want the world to understand the kind of hatred, cruelty, and propaganda that Ukraine is fighting against every day. Sometimes the most powerful evidence speaks for itself.

Third, I do restrict and block them from time to time, especially when it is obvious that a post is under a coordinated attack or being flooded by fake accounts.

In any case, when you see vile comments under my posts, ignore them if they come from bots. If they come from real people, expose them. Sunlight remains one of the best disinfectants.

Ukraine is not just fighting missiles and drones. It is also fighting a propaganda machine that operates around the clock.
