"It ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

You LOVE this quote right?

It fires you up! It should it’s theatre, it was written to illicit emotion.

It’s 🐂 💩…

Rocky is a movie; it’s not real life.

You want to know what real-life champions do.

They don’t keep getting their heads beaten in; that’s called survival, not winning.

Winners train; they prepare; they anticipate.

A wise person once said, " Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

What does that mean?

It means we have the capacity for education, learning, and evolution.

In my consultative work, you know the mistake I see founders and sellers make over and over again?

They act like Rocky, they keep repeating the same behavior and getting their head beaten in, and then think it’s a badge of honor to keep getting up.

Isn’t that the definition of insanity?

If you’ve read my book Shut The Hell Up And Sell, you know my favorite REAL boxer of all time is Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Why?

Because he’s the most calculated fighter I’ve ever seen, he studied his opponents, he didn't waste energy, and he was a masterful counter-puncher. He anticipated punches; it was almost as if he were clairvoyant.

But he wasn’t. He wasn’t a psychic, he was a student.

What are you?

Are you a pretend fight or a real champion?

How much time, money, and energy have you invested in your development?

Leaders, how much time, money, and resources have you invested in your team's development?

Are you taking pride in insanity, or are you learning to become strategic and efficient?

Need help, let’s talk.
