We always hear people say “I’d die for my kids” or “I’d kill for my partner,” and while that level of devotion is beautiful, I always like to ask… “but would you heal for them?” “would you change your habits for them?” “would you eat healthier for them?” “would you slow down enough to do the deeper work for them?”
Because how you take care of yourself, how you regulate and respond to your emotions, and how you show up when things feel hard…that’s where the love is really felt.
That’s the kind of work that not only changes you but shapes the environment your future family will grow in 🤍 do it for them, do it for your partner, do it for you
