I have just received an email to say I’m going to get paid £59.22 from Substack because someone picked the yearly subscription thing on my page.

This is the first time I’ve gotten paid for my writing.

How exciting!

I told my mother, who still hasn’t subscribed to my blog, and she said, ‘Well, I guess I’m going to need to have a look at that blog of yours now to see what the fuss is about’

This is the best thing that’s happened this week.

Now I just need to figure out a way to prevent her from finding my substack.
