Five years ago my son turned up on my doorstep (from Australia) in pieces. He’d left home at 17, travelled the world cheffing in fancy restaurants, but the business broke him. He moved back in, got professional help for addiction and mental health issues and retrained as an electrician.
A few months ago he got back in touch with his childhood sweetheart and they started dating. A week ago they set off for Latvia. He had a secret plan. And I just got a message to say it all worked out. She said yes 😁. My youngest boy is engaged!
