BlueSky is a rotten place. Musk’s Twitter is bottom barrel but BlueSky is actually worse. I have one because I feel I need to follow multiple subcultures for my work, and if I were only hovering on Twitter/X, I’d be missing something. But BlueSky is bleak. All the pathologies of 2010s Twitter and none of the influence. I agree with Shadi Hamid - the left is truly marginalizing itself by being there. No impact, no meaning, but a lot of screaming.
