I still maintain that whatever you wrote about last is generally not what caused x number of people to unsubscribe. What actually happened is this:

Your most recent post served as a helpful reminder in their inbox to unsubscribe from something they haven’t been reading for a while.

In other words, don’t worry. You weren’t too edgy or niche in your latest post. You’ve just been kinda boring for a quite while now.
