Stuff I loved at Rachel Comey, the only designer whose collection overview includes suggestions on what to wear for your book tour (now that’s ASPIRATIONAL!): 1) the ladies-who-lunch looks, including an earthier version of Cristobal Balenciaga’s envelope dress and a crinkled skirt suit with pajama piping; 2) that she wrote in her show notes, “when considering whether to do a show this season….” — more designers need to be less automatic, more considered about having a show at all!
