How to install plugins in Claude Cowork:

(a step-by-step guide)

____

1. Go to claude .ai/download (get the desktop app).

2. Open Claude → click "Cowork" at the top center.

3. Use this setup guide: ruben.substack.com/p/qu….

3. Click the "+" button → select "Plugins."

4. Click "Add plugin" (Legal, Finance, Marketing…).

5. Hit "Install" → then click "Customize" as per you.

6. Click "Work in a folder" at the bottom left.

7. Select any folder from your laptop.

7. Click "Allow" so Claude can read every file inside.

8. Now prompt it like you're talking to an expert:

Review all four PDF contracts in this folder. For each one, give me a plain-English summary of what the agreement is about, who the parties are, and the key dates (effective date, term, renewal, termination). Then flag every clause that could be risky for the signing party using RED for dangerous, YELLOW for worth negotiating, and GREEN for standard. Focus especially on indemnification, liability caps, auto-renewal, termination rights, IP ownership, and confidentiality. Present your findings as a separate report for each document.

____

Claude will give you a full contract review report:

✦ Clause-by-clause, with every risk flagged

✦ RED (dangerous)

✦ YELLOW (worth negotiating)

✦ GREEN (standard)

A real lawyer charges $500/hour for this.

Claude does it in minutes for $20/month.

This is what legal review was supposed to be.
