10 things to try in Claude this week.
Each one teaches you something the last one didn't.
_
1. Copy 3 of your LinkedIn posts:
Ask Claude to write 3 new ones in the same voice.
Then ask it to search for new topics on the web.
_
2. Upload a 50-page PDF:
Ask for a 1-page summary with page references so you can verify every point.
Find the full breakdown here → ruben.substack.com/p/cl…
_
3. Upload your last 5 meeting notes:
Ask for a decisions log: what got decided, who owns each action, what's still open.
_
4. Point Cowork at your Downloads folder:
Ask what's in there and what you could safely delete.
_
5. Paste a messy email thread:
Ask for the 3 next actions and who owes what.
_
6. Connect your Gmail to Claude:
Now run the same email thread task without pasting anything.
Claude reads your Gmail directly.
_
7. Give it a Google Doc you've been meaning to edit:
Ask for a sharper rewrite with a diff of what changed and why.
_
8. Feed it a spreadsheet:
Ask what patterns it notices that you might have missed.
Then ask for a new spreadsheet with whatever is missing.
_
9. Paste a competitor's pricing page:
Ask how yours compares and what's missing.
Ask Claude to build an HTML version so you can see it live.
_
10. Give it your calendar for the week:
Ask what to decline and why.
_
One tip before you start:
Keep a note file called prompts-that-worked.
Every time a prompt gives you something useful, save it.
In 2 weeks you'll have a personal prompt library worth more than anything you could buy.
Those prompts become your Skills.
