There was a lot I appreciated in Nate’s post. And at the same time I get this nagging sense of a kind of mismatch. After an appreciation of the depth of the issue we get this kind of nicely structured map for intervention which I fee represents and presumes the very kind of sensible logical thinking that perhaps at the very source of what has been going wrong. To be clear I’m not against reason, … and this crisis is a metacrisis ie a crisis in core views and values including the logical rational analysis.

In short, what we need (more) is new religions more than new plans
