There are two words which every author hates: ‘marketing’ and ‘strategy.’ Three, if you count ‘publicity’. Just writing the words makes me shudder. Brrr! Writing about someone else’s work when you’ve enjoyed it - easy! Writing, or god forbid talking to camera about one’s own - dreadful.
