🎙️ NEW PODCAST! 🎙️
This week, we spoke to the incredible Lisa Jackson.
Runner and author Lisa has completed more than 100 marathons, finished the gruelling ComradesMarathon twice, and told her experiences both as a columnist for Runner's World and in her own book, 'Your Pace or Mine'.
Lisa's latest publication is a far harder - but no less inspiring - read. 'Still Running After All These Tears' chronicles her experience of dealing with the devastating loss of her husband, Graham, and the cancer journey they faced together.
It reveals how when her grief over Graham was followed by losing her sister and father as well, all within 17 months, her relationship with running was tested to its limits.
But the book also tells how the power of running helped Lisa rediscover her love of life.
We talk about why running means so much to her - even though she has finished last in a host of races, why she's campaigning for assisted dying as a result of Graham's experience, and how she hopes her story will help and inspire others.
This is a story that will make you laugh and cry. But most of all it's one that deserves to be told...
