Do you know of/work at/attend a high school, college, or university that has a solid humanities department (incl. English, History, Classics, Languages, Art, Philosophy)?

Whether it’s a move toward “generalist interdisciplianry professors”, or folding various arts departments into a muddle of “School of Critical and Creative Humanities” (as our local university just did), there must be some institutions that are resisting this trend.

Would love to compile a list of institutions that are flourishing in this department amid an increasingly disheartening educational landscape. Does such a resource list exist already?

Hollis Robbins Ted Gioia Ted Balaker Anthony Esolen Patrick B. Whalen Scott Postma Jared Henderson Hilarious Bookbinder James Marriott John Warner Iain McGilchrist Peter Kwasniewski Henry Oliver Dixie Dillon Lane Marcus Luther Jacob Allee Librarian of Celaeno Tsh Oxenreider Grant Martsolf Brett McKay Luke Burgis Kelsey Piper Nadya Williams Nate Marshall

The last desperate act of a collapsing institution is changing the brand name.
