Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Ryan. I live in the mountains of Boulder, Colorado, but I grew up in the City of Brotherly Love - Philadelphia.
I was an elite golfer as a teenager. Then I quit a comfortable tech sales career to become an endurance coach. Most people thought I was crazy. Six Ironmans later, I’m still not sure they’re wrong.
But neither was I.
These days I coach a team of dads. Men who are building companies, raising kids, and quietly wondering if the version of themselves that crosses finish lines is still in there somewhere.
It is. I promise.
I also do consulting work helping people build content, brands, and businesses around the thing they actually care about - not the thing that looks good in a LinkedIn headline.
My column is called The 5-Hour Athlete.
It’s the playbook I’ve used to coach 300+ dads across Ironman and ultramarathon finish lines - without blowing up their marriages, missing their kids’ games, or grinding themselves into the ground.
Five hours a week. Real results. A full life.
Tomorrow I’m publishing the most effective training strategy I know for time-crunched dads. If you’ve ever looked at your calendar and thought there’s no way — that one’s for you.
Come say hey. You’re in the right place.
