The workouts that almost don’t happen are the ones that actually matter.

Not because of fitness. Because of who you become when you do them anyway.

Thursday I woke up to my kid crying.

Three hours of dad duty. Four hours of calls.

I got 10 minutes + 2,300 meters on the rower at lunch and almost talked myself out of it.

That 10 minutes didn’t move the needle on my training.

But it did keep my daily movement streak going.

And when you strip training all the way down, any movement moves me forward.
