Hot take: X (twitter) isn't what it was.

I built a business there. Grew to 12k followers. For the past two or three years, every time someone said "it's not the same anymore" I pushed back.

I didn't want to hear it.

But I've been spending more time on Substack Notes lately - and I have to be honest about what I'm noticing.

• Thoughtful writing.

• Real people in the comments.

• People building things and actually supporting each other.

It feels like what X used to feel like before it became a place to be the loudest voice in the room.

I'm becoming more of a fan every day.
