Channel 4 News has released a detailed report on the timeline of the massacre near the aid distribution point in Rafah, Gaza, where Israeli forces killed more than 31 Palestinians and wounded over 200 as they waited for food.
▪️According to eyewitnesses and local health officials, thousands of civilians gathered overnight, hoping to receive aid when the site opened at 6:00 a.m.
▪️Witnesses say that around 3:30 a.m., Israeli tanks and drones opened fire directly into the crowd, sparking chaos and mass casualties. At least 31 were killed on the spot, with some reports putting the death toll as high as 50, and more than 200 injured, including children and the elderly.
▪️Medical facilities in Rafah and nearby Khan Younis were overwhelmed, treating nearly 180 wounded, most with gunshot and shrapnel injuries.
▪️Staff from Doctors Without Borders and the Red Cross described treating patients shot from multiple directions — including by tanks, drones, helicopters, and soldiers.
