NEW: Foreign ministers from 21 countries across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia—including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Pakistan, and the UAE—issued a joint statement condemning Israel’s ongoing military assault on Iran and warning of grave consequences for regional stability.

➤ The statement categorically rejected Israel’s attacks since June 13 as violations of international law and the UN Charter, and emphasized the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states.

➤ The ministers demanded an immediate end to Israeli hostilities and warned that continued escalation could lead to a broader regional conflict.

➤ They called for the creation of a Middle East free of nuclear weapons and WMDs, and urged all states in the region to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) without exception.

➤ The statement stressed that nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards must not be targeted, calling such acts a breach of international law and the Geneva Conventions.

➤ The ministers also called for a return to negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program, describing diplomacy as the only viable path forward.

➤ They emphasized the importance of freedom of navigation and maritime security, and rejected the use of force as a means to resolve regional crises.
