DIVINE REMOVALS…
Sometimes the most powerful move God makes in your life is not addition… it’s subtraction.
One of the most painful parts of walking with God is not what He gives you… it’s what He takes away. As you grow in Him there will be seasons where the holiest thing He does is remove people, disconnect relationships, and shut doors you thought would stay open forever. Jesus made this clear in John 15 when He said that even fruitful branches get pruned so they can produce MORE fruit. That means even in a good season God may be cutting something back that is limiting your capacity.
Your emotions may feel the full weight of that loss and the grief is real. When people leave, when connections shift, when what felt permanent suddenly disappears… it can hit deep. But hear this truth… NOT EVERY REMOVAL IS A TRAGEDY. Some of it is answered prayer. You prayed for clarity. You asked for acceleration. You cried out for God to align your life… and He answered by removing what couldn’t go where you’re going.
Not everybody who left was a loss. Let that sit for a moment. Some of those relationships were quietly draining you, diluting your focus, and slowing your obedience while you were on your knees asking God for momentum. The grief was real… but the removal was right.
God is too intentional about your destiny to allow just anyone to occupy the spaces assigned to your future. He prunes. He purifies. He reorders your environment with precision. So before you chase what He removed or spend another season mourning what He let walk out the door… ask Him what He is making room for. The empty space you feel right now is not punishment… it’s preparation. Something aligned is coming. Something appointed is forming. Trust the removal. Your next is on the other side of it.
