I drew this with pencil in a sketchbook I got from Five Below two years ago that I don't open often enough, even though I love to sketch. I wrote a newsletter titled “Home,” on my Substack, which shares the story of this specific image. I was debating if I should publish it here when my son said, “Whoa! You drew that?! You're a really good artist!” I guess that was the vote of confidence I needed to share my drawing. And a reminder that it's not that Moms forget who we are after kids, it's maybe that we don't share enough of our inner selves with our children. 🐸☕ 🐞🍄🌧️
