How Women Meet - The Pond is due to be published tomorrow at 17.00hrs. The story centres around a woman revisiting an area where she spent time as a child. A terrible event took place there just before her teen years and it has affected her adversely ever since. While she is there she becomes acquainted with a woman of similar age who is out walking her dog. They strike up a friendship and a healing process begins. The story is a sensitive approach dealing with abuse. It is certainly NOT erotic. It is a fictional adaptation of a true event involving me. Not the harrowing events portrayed in my story, more a lucky escape. All the same it took years to forget what might have been. Sadie.
