I have a problem with always wanting to create things. I’m always tinkering and fiddling around with all sorts of things.

Technology is one of my most favorite things to play with.

I’ve been trying to think of a way to best stay in communication with people that want to talk about the work that I do with homeless people.

Nothing has been ideal. I’d use Patreon, but they require people to pay something if they want to get notifications. I thought about using Mailchimp but then they want me to pay. I’m always trying to keep my extraneous expenses to a minimum.

So, I came across Substack. It lets me write and then sends out email notifications to people that may be interested in what I’m talking about.

Who knows. Maybe I’ll lose interest in this tool too. I keep going back to Facebook. But so many people are tired of Facebook.

We’ll see.

Mostly I want to have a place where I can really work on being as open and vulnerable as I possibly can. I figure there are only so many people that are interested in that kind of communication. I don’t really want to bother other people with these thoughts.

So, that’s why I’m here.

I want to continue to deeply explore the crime against humanity we call homelessness.
